Mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning

Natural ventilation is the most immediate and natural air exchange method in the house, opening the windows in a daily act that is carried out both in winter and in summer.

There is, however, a contraindication, this causes the loss of heat or cool air with a considerable waste of energy, so it tends to avoid as much as possible the opening of the windows, causing, on the other hand, the occurrence of other types of problems, such as the appearance of damp patches on walls and proliferation of molds and bacteria, causing a risk of allergies and respiratory diseases.

How to get out of this impasse? Especially in new houses where the thermal insulation is high efficiency, the risk of this happening is very high, so it becomes essential to use controlled mechanical ventilation systems.

Controlled mechanical ventilation

Lossnay VL100EU-5E is the new mechanical ventilation with heat recovery for residential environments by Mitsubishi Electric for an effective air renewal with the lowest noise and significant energy savings. Installation is intuitive, design is modern and compact.

With this system it is possible to treat the outside air and lead it inside the house restoring the proper amount of oxygen and controlling the contaminants, as well as contributing to the control of the level of the temperature and of the environmental humidity.

With this new machine, among other things, the classic mechanical ventilator changes look becoming an object of design that adapts to any environment thanks to its compact dimensions, so that there is minimal encumbrance and a nice aesthetic look, thanks to the elegant flat gloss white panels.

To install it you just need two simple holes of 85 mm in diameter, without any invasive intervention or false ceiling. The heat recovered by this mechanical ventilator is enough to ensure the maximum comfort for rooms up to 80 square meters, thanks to an adjustable deflector and an optimal air distribution.

Lossnay VL100EU-5E is extremely quiet, only 25 dB of noise, and it is equipped with a high efficiency filter class G3, which allows the elimination of fine particles, for which it is able to purify the air by returning a healthy environment. It is a highly efficient solution from the energy point of view, thanks to a heat exchange which reaches the 80%, with only 15W of power consumption in idling mode.

Air-conditioning and design

The new range Emura, by Daikin, evolution of the series born in 2010, represents the perfect synthesis of technology and design in the field of air conditioning: refined and elegant aesthetic intended for an European audience demanding from this point of view, along with the most advanced technology .

The attention, as always, is focused on the quality of materials and finishes available, which makes this air conditioner a piece of furniture that fits into any modern context, contributing to the whole aesthetic impact.

The variants available are silver-gray or pure white matt, all finishes that enhance the sleek and aerodynamic design. From the technical point of view, Emura, thanks to smart devices, ensures high efficiency and energy saving performance in classes A + + (SCOP) and A + (SEER).

It is equipped with a multifuncion sensor that is able to sense and record the absence of people in order to be able, after 20 minutes, to change the set point, ie the temperature for that environment, so as to save energy. This same sensor, according to the people detected in the environment, allows to direct the flow of air so as to avoid direct air currents that may be annoying as well as dangerous for the health.

The new compressors ensure low power consumption of this air-conditioner, both for heating and for cooling down and the stand-by, and are particularly efficient at part load operation. The capacities available are 2, 2.5, 3.5 and 5.0 kW.

Emura is particularly quiet and discreet, thanks to its 19 dB (A) and, with the appropriate remote control, you can program on a weekly basis. In addition, through your home WiFi network and smartphone, you can use a WiFi control, via a plug & play application to set up the installation of the machine.

The dedicated app is available for iOS and Android and allows you to save energy and money by controlling the air conditioning from anywhere and anytime. As for the installation, this has been simplified and made flexible thanks to a new mounting plate, designed taking into account the boxes predisposition already on the Italian market, ensuring greater space available for connections, even in the case of plant and pipes already existing.

Also the opening presents the novelty of being fronalt and not more upward, even if the characteristic movement of the front panel during operation remains. The front opening allows installation even in places very close to the ceiling. Even the calculation of the width of the unit has been calculated to allow the installation of the device on the doors of access to the premises.

Finally, thanks to the Daikin 3D application for iOS and Android, from December 1rst, it is possible for installers to take advantage of previewing the new Emura in 3D directly in the customer's house. Daikin Emura will be available to Italian customers starting in March 2014.
