It is the most welcoming space and it is full of evocative references, where smells, flavors and colors mix together to create remarkable sensations. In the collective imagination, the kitchen as a classic appearance; it is accompanied by various accessories for cooking and it always has a fire access and scent of fresh juice in the air.

Actually, speaking nowadays of the kitchen means to embrace a range of creative solutions that leave a wide space to fantasy, glamor and futuristic proposals.

In particular, the lovers of minimalist style see the kitchen as the perfect opportunity to experience modern furniture and the most advanced solutions.
Many designers in this sense indulge in creating the most extravagant and innovative concept, from the impression unmistakably futuristic, perfect for those who do not want to miss the opportunity to dare, focusing on an unusual furniture and high aesthetic impact.

The kitchen of the future is green

The first on the list is Oreadi, a green kitchen that was born from the craft and industrial know-how of TM Italy and the drawing skills of university students of Camerino.
This project was born with the will to break the serial mold products usually marketed. Its end communicates exclusivity and leads to a different lifestyle.
Oreadi takes account of sustainability at every stage of the life cycle of the product, aiming at reducing the volume of CO2 emissions, the consumption of energy resources and raw materials, while increasing the possibilities for recycling and reuse.

Oreadi is composed of three intersecting volumes: a basis for the preparation and consumption of food; a green area with the spices growing and a wall set up with a depolluting plant, the Tillandsia usneoides.
The environmentally sustainable aspects of Oreadi are delineated from the materials of which it is composed. Frames, doors and worktop are made with different types of panels, composites from recycled materials, such as paper and wood.
All resins used are free of oil and the colors of the finish because they are non-toxic water-based.
The depolluting wall is made with an aluminum frame backlit on which, on the one hand is mounted Alusion, aluminum foam made with 100% recycled material, and in turn recyclable; on the other side is the tillandsia, in an amount sufficient to purify 50 square meters of the surrounding environment.
On the island work top there is a practical cutting board, directly communicating with the composter via a simple opening.
This system provides a second cycle of life to organic waste, becoming an integral part of the fertilizer for the garden, the small green space that intersects with the work island.

The sink is equipped with a mixer for the production of carbonated drinking water to reduce the amount of waste plastics; below it is positioned a device for the recovery of the waste water. A smart sensor analyzes the quality of the water that flows from the drain to distinguish the clean water from the gray.
All appliances are obviously energy efficient.

Space look for futuristic kitchens

Are you ready to move into the future? It looks like something from a movie set the space kitchen Wave, last delivery of the company A-Cero, who decides to break the classical scheme of the kitchen to introduce the viewer in a completely new atmosphere.



It looks almost like the inside of a spaceship through the surreal design and the materials used. Wave is dedicated to all lovers of the chic and unusual spaces.
It could be the realization of a desire for those who dream adventures in the hyperspace.
Presented on the market in the ultra-white version, as in the photo, to mark the whiteness and its clean lines, Wave is actually available in various colors and combinations to be able to customize according to the taste and needs of customers.



It matches definitely the Korean designer Jaehoon Jung, with its spatial kitchen Pond, a spectacular blend of aesthetics and great features from a practical point of view.
In this project, there is no room for linear forms and sharp edges; everything bends, becomes rounded, softens.
Pond Kitchen evokes the image of a pond, especially in its unusual sink and for the presence of fires, stools and control of household appliances in the form of stones.

The functionality is guaranteed by the C-shape that allows you to have everything at hand, including the dining table which is integrated, in respect of contemporary construction habit.

Cinematic inspiration for the futuristic design

A good artist can draw inspiration from everyday life and why not, even from other art forms. At the show in Milan in 2011, was dedicated an entire show, Tron designs Corian® to the film TRON: Legacy by Walt Disney Studios.
For the occasion, AquiliAlberg, an international architecture & design studio in Milan has designed for Ernestomeda, a spectacular kitchen.



Creativity and innovation meet design, creating a concept with a great expressive power. A visionary and experimental project that includes a free-standing island, a system of modular containers and a table.
The kitchen and dining area were made with a special combination of techno-surface DuPont™ Corian.

The kitchen of the future in a prototype

Designed by Ora-Ito (stage name of Ito Morabito) for Gorenje , the prototype of futuristic kitchen looks like a cube open and rounded, a block that can be transported and installed in the desired position.
Made with a very resistant material also weatherproof, The Futuristic Kitchen, named after its inventor, can also be used outside.



In support of cubic space kitchen, the new collection of household appliances Gorenje Ora-Ito, distinguishable for the design of the front panels, black glass and aluminum handles.
LCD monitors present in the kitchen are connected to a DVD player and a PC for playback of movies, Internet browsing, games and comfortable viewing of recipes!

All parts in the containing function are ergonomic and functional. For now Futuristic Kitchen is just a sample, but it is the intention of the producer Gorenje to make it a production with variations on the theme.
