When it comes to choosing the structure of your bed you need to have in mind the characteristics on which you want to bet and needs of space and size.
In fact, after choosing the bed base and the type of mattress, which are essential for achieving a high quality of sleep, you select the structure of the bed aesthetically closer to your taste.
The offers on the market are so many that it is essential to focus on only a few types in order to have a more restricted range of choices; there are, in fact, container beds, beds with visible structure, with upholstered headboard in fabric, leather or wood, Japanese style beds, etc.. In short, the choice is so wide that you are likely to get lost in the many offerings of companies in the sector.
A further skimming of the possible solutions can be carried out in relation to choosing the bed side tables, support structures and/ or container needed to complete the shape of your bedroom.
In the room, if the bed is double, single or queen size, it is very useful the presence of bedside shelves or tables, if not indispensable to be able to place a book, magazine, a bottle of water, the alarm clock, or lighting, phone, etc..
The bedside tables can be chosen with a stylistic continuity with respect to the structure of the bed and the closet, as well as for any chest of drawers, then with the same finish and the same lines, or by choosing different types, regardless of the style chosen for your room: recovering the old tables and restoring them or using simple shelves can provide a solution in stark contrast between the bed frame and the bedside tables, or why not, also between two bedside tables.
But there is a third option that allows you to make one choice that applies both elements: the integrated bedside tables. These shelves or containers integrated into the structure of the bed, without interruption, is composed of headboard, bedside tables and supporting structure.
Let's see some examples.
The first example that we propose is by Zanette that with Morpheus has a bed composed of a wooden structure with a range of finishing options, with the function of the headboard and bedside table top made of shelves attached to the structure. It is interesting to note that the headboard, very low, to be completed by pillow reclining headrest that make it soft and comfortable support; also in this case, you can choose from a multitude of colors and materials.
The bedside tables are also available with integrated LEDs which help to make the structure very elegant, and are attached to the structure and partially closed at the top of the head itself.
The shape of the bed makes the structure very suitable for free-standing solutions.
Also Dielle Modus produces an interesting bed with shelves resulting from the headboard: Limbo is a bed with very simple forms, with an open underlying structure or with a cabinet, whose head, in faux leather, is wrapped around the bed to create two useful plans support on both sides. Thus equipping containers below it makes up for the lack of side tables with drawer, contenting themselves with simple tops with great visual impact.
In this case, thanks to its structure, the bed can be placed on the wall or placed in the center of the room.
In this example, however, the bed needs a support surface: a further solution, also useful to decorate the wall behind the bed, is to make the head paneling attached to the wall. An example is given by Mattress of Novamobili, combined with a padded bed headboard wall panels which are integrated bedside cabinets composed of shelf and drawer. Also in this case for the padding is possible to choose between a multitude of finishes.
Even the single beds or a queen size bed have bedside tables built into the structure: an example is provided by Ponti furniture that offers a room for kids in laminate made up of beds with headboard and base structure on which is grafted a nightstand. In this way the bed is resting, in the terminal portion, on the ground with legs in metal and, in the portion under the headboard, on the laminate structure that serves as a shelf and housing for the bedside.
