iGuzzini Illuminazione, a leading company in the lighting sector, was one of the protagonists of the Salone del Mobile 2021 and Fuorisalone 2021, thanks to the creative tour The Light Gate Works Together, which shows different forms and applications of light.

iGuzzini also collaborates with Centro Stile Automobili Lamborghini and the result of this collaboration is Mya, a new customizable table lamp characterized by high visual performance, whose aesthetics refer to the unmistakable design of Lamborghini cars.

The iconic "Y" shape of the object is inspired by the components of Lamborghini sport cars and makes it solid and compact. The Lamborghini concept is also used for the switch-on, switch-off and light adjustment point, which can be managed via the integrated touch-screen display.

The lamp is equipped with a compartment with rotation +/- 30 °, ideal for pointing the light where you want, a dedicated asymmetrical optic and a USB type C port to recharge the device.
Light Shed: the modular lighting system
One of the most important innovations by iGuzzini is Light Shed, the intelligent lighting solution presented by the company during the Milan Design Week.

This system, designed with recycled and 100% recyclable materials, integrates sound-absorbing capabilities and smart tools that allow you to extend its basic functions. Light Shed is an eco-design solution designed specifically to reinterpret spaces and make them more functional, thanks to which it is possible to illuminate, diffuse sound, absorb noises and, of course, furnish.

Light Shed furnishing accessory guarantees high energy efficiency and can be transformed into a sound-absorbing panel; in addition to being sustainable, this solution perfectly integrates aesthetics and functionality, as it is also able to smartly enable security, comfort and entertainment services. The device can in fact be equipped with a loudspeaker, camera, environmental sensor and multisensor, which are able to monitor movement and light conditions.

Using Light Smart Control, the iGuzzini app, it is possible to remotely control Light Shed.

The Light Shed LED lighting system can also be managed via a voice assistant and is available in three modular shapes (single square, modular square and linear). It is possible to carry out recessed, surface or suspended installations, in order to obtain a personalized environment according to your needs.

The Light Shed system, with its minimal and light design, can be installed in any type of environment: the modules of which it is composed allow you to create various compositions. There are five models: Light Shed 120, Light Shed 60, Light Shed 30, Light Shed 60 dB and Light Shed 14.

RAYCREA: technical characteristics
The RAYCREA technology, if applied on glass or acrylic structures equipped with LEDs, is able to illumintate the surface on which it is placed.

RAYCREA panels have no length limits; therefore, they can be used to illuminate both small and very large surfaces. It is also possible to apply them on glass or acrylic structures, as we mentioned already, in order to transform them into real luminous elements.
The function of RAYCREA is to control the angle of the light beam, reducing the glare effect. In the absence of a light source, the model is completely transparent and invisible. Its structure, flexible and thin, is also ideal for applications on curved surfaces and for creating colored light effects.

The peculiarities of the products made by this company, which was built in 2011 by Pier Luigi Frighetto, are the elegant design and refined accessories, characterized by a style which is actually a mix between deco and contemporary, the high quality of the materials used and the attention to detail.

The new 2021 collection is very glamorous: it includes the Erasmo sofa, the Lillo poufs, the Natalia and Elena Sofia seats, and finally, the Thelma Couture table lamp: an ideal piece of furniture for refined, luxury, contemporary and modern contexts.
Thelma Couture is made up of a central body made of Port Laurent marble and metallic elements in a matt gold finish. The lampshade is made of black rigid fabric, while the diffuser is actually made of opaque glass.
This lamp, which isfunctional and decorative at the same time, produces a diffused light directed downwards, which illuminates the metal parts and the characteristic gold-colored veins of the black Port Laurent marble, creating a particular and elegant effect.
