Candlesticks and candelabra, depending on how many candles they have to support, are objects that evoke the distant past, when the electricity did not exist in the homes and the dim light of candles was needed for night lighting.

Today the use of candles is no longer aimed to enlightenment, but it is still useful to create a special atmosphere, you want a romantic dinner for two, you want to spend an evening with friends on the terrace or in the garden, where certain types also act as excellent deterrent against insects.


Without forgetting the pleasant atmosphere that is capable of creating a scented candle, spreading a precious aroma in any room where it is located. Ideal especially in the bathroom, to assist the rejuvenating effects of home wellness treatments.

So, even today, it remains a key function of the holder, so the design does not fail to grapple with this issue, proposing new and creative forms reworkings in different materials.

Candle holders transparent and minimalist

Float bubble, designed by Stephanie Forsythe, is a suspension candle holder by Molo. Each hand-blown glass sphere is equipped with two openings, one, largest, in which you can insert the candle or alternatively a flower, a small branch or an object, and a smaller hole which supplies the air flow to a flickering candle.

The floating bubble can be in transparent or opaque glass and can be placed on a dining table or grouping to form a chandelier.
The candle holder is part of the collection Float, which includes various glass objects result of the work of skilled glassmakers.


The candle holders in polished stainless steel Royal Collection, designed by Arne Jacobsen for &Tradition, assumes the particular form of the objects created by the designer, in which you can see a great attention to detail.

The candlestick can be used alone or in combination with the bowls of the same collection and, in both cases, it gives to the table a particular elegance.

The small bowl and the candlestick have a diameter of 120 mm for a height of 50 mm, the large bowl instead has a diameter of 210 mm for a height of 100 mm.

Black look candle holder

The transparency of glass to incisive forms of metal, in a dark shape. Normann Copenhagen offers a series of cast iron candlesticks designed by Francis Cayouette named Heima. Heima to Norse mythology means the home and the world.


This collection, won the prestigious IF Product Design Award 2010, based its inspiration on the Nordic tradition of dinner by candlelight, synonymous with intimacy, and the tradition of cast iron working, a raw material fascinating and rich in history. So the design is recognizable and pays tribute to these memories.

The processing of surface makes the candlestick cold and of character, while the rounded shapes make it modern and minimalist design and are a fine detail to be included in the decor.

The range includes various types, available for different types of candles, small and large, and a solution of four-armed candlestick.

The candlestick Menorah Bold designed by Roderick Vos for Moooi, is inspired by traditional Jewish candlesticks with 7 arms, redesigned them with absolutely original and modern forms.


Made of powder-coated steel, they are the result of the use of laser cutting technology, thanks to which you can cut out a shape or pattern of sheet metal with extreme accuracy.
The technology also allows you to manipulate the steel sheet efficiently and with minimal waste.
The stanchions have legs in felt, they are black and measure 40 x 76 x 21 cm.

The holders of the collection The More The Merrier was designed by Louise Campbell for Muuto. It is formed by a series of candle holder in soft rubber, joined by steel elements.

The elements can be combined as desired, whereby it is possible to obtain many different candlesticks, a series of elements arranged in a perfectly symmetrical way as well as positioned randomly.

Available in white or black, it contains 7 candleholders and 6 metal connectors.

Made of brass, instead, is Hummingbird, the set of glasses with candle by Armani House, characterized by a cylindrical fitting with an angle. The logo GA is engraved on the glass, while the Armani/ Casa logo is on the underside.

Available in two sizes from 8 x 8 x 8h cm or 5 x 5 cm x 6h

There are three different finishes: polished silver plated with white wax, glossy black nickel with black wax, brass matt gold with white wax, the same as the silverplated version.

The wax used for the finish is the paraffin.
