The patent by Guido Giuseppin concerns a system for different types of doors and windows, elegant and personalized, in line with safety standards, whose uniqueness lies in the play of light that emphasizes the delicate atmosphere effect in the spaces where they are mounted.

Lux-Profile is a door frame with an integrated light source for backlighting the profile of the leaf or of the frame, realized using DuPont^™Corian^® finishing, with the possibility of adjusting at will the intensity and the color.

The low-voltage electrical system and mechanisms for handling, such as the new concealed hinges are hidden in the main structure.

Thanks to the perimeter Corian® covering the direct glare is avoided. The finishing profile can be flat or radiused line, while the surface can be engraved, on request, in order to create particular effects of light that are added to the basic ones.

As particular type of material, Corian^® allows any pattern, as well as it is well known as hygienic, non-toxic and restorable. The main feature, in this case, is the extreme customization possible, in order to satisfy any requirement in any home environment.

Hidden door frames

We turn to a different kind of door frame, the exact opposite of a solution like the one above: from a frame that itself becomes predominant with respect to the door itself, to a frame that disappears inside the wall, leaving the door appearing almost like a light incision on the wall, becoming almost an intaglio, a silk decoration.

Walldoor by Bertolotto , is all this: a graphic sign on the wall for a minimal effect of great elegance. It is a kind of door flush with the wall, with its frame hidden inside the wall itself. The surface can be painted over and allows to have wall and door with the same design.

Not only doors to connect one room to another. Walldoor represents the best solution even in the case of closures of niches and cupboards, possibly completing the whole system with push-pull opening on the single or double door.

The frame can be mounted and concealed within masonry walls as well as plasterboard walls.

Windows frame and thermal insulation

Always talking about the most advanced technology, I would mark the PVC sliding system Thermo Slide, by Schüco , based on a depth of 219 mm system. The technical feature of this window frame is its structure, with the complete absence of thermal bridges in the profile reinforcements.

All this ensures high efficiency in terms of thermal insulation, increased also by the conformation of the profile which encloses the glazing. Thermo Slide supports the weight of a door of 400 kg, without the sliding system being affected.

The technical features of this type of windows frame also ensure safety and comfort at the highest level. Thanks to the small sections you can take advantage of maximum natural lighting possible, although the highest levels of sound insulation are guaranteed, too.

The design is clean, with all the technology hidden in 174 mm profile-section at the top and the sides, and 144 mm at the bottom.
