It's the case of EQ Dekor, a new type of coating, born from the collaboration between the company and Inkiostro White Mapei. The technology is making headway and often the combination of several aspects leads to unusual aspects.

At first glance it looks like a wallpaper. Actually this product has two functions, which can both act as protective and decoration, adapting depending on the occurrence, is to be laid on wall or floor.

In addition to the practical aspect, EQ Dekor also has the distinction of being a very nice product, born of painstaking research of artists and designers from Inkiostro White, a brand that specializes in wall coverings truly original and unusual.

From the technical point of view, EQ Dekor is made with a particular structure, able to reduce and minimize the risk of detachment of the parts of the wall. Not by chance is underlined in the presence of anti-seismic fiber, which would allow in addition to the reduction of risks, even to prolong the time to evacuate the building in case of earthquake.

The product is patented and realized thanks to the experience of Mapei, is a fabric whose fiber glass is bidirectional, that is put in work and spread through a single-component adhesive, water-based, but high seal. These features, combined with the lightness and flexibility, make EQ Dekor, particularly suitable in areas subject to earthquakes and aftershocks, for applications on non-primary partitions.

Wallpaper outdoor

But among the wallpapers innovative, we also find suitable solutions for outdoor applications. It is the case of the innovative product of Wall & Deco, called for the note OUT, Outdoor Unconventional Texture. This type of coating is designed to revolutionize the aesthetics of the buildings, also through a careful analysis of the materials used and their properties.

The wallpaper in fact is weather resistant and offers a wide variety of choices, ranging from the wood effect, camuflage, through written to effect street art. The application can be performed both on the external walls and, for example, in areas subject to different thermal excursions compared to the domestic environment, such as garages and porches.
