The bathroom is the room of the house that has suffered more than anyone over the years of radical changes due to changes in lifestyle, poised between being a crossing point which hosts quickly some of the daily activities environment and dedicated to the welness and care of your body.
And so the objects and furniture in it are transformed both in their appearance and functionality, expanding or contracting the space itself based on usage and habits of individual users: we will have a bathroom with all amenities like hot tubs, sanitary ware and tiles in high-tech materials if you love taking care of yourselves; on the contrary, we will have shower trays and sanitary multi-function if the bathroom is conceived as a mere place of passage. All this clearly, net of the global space of the house and the potential of the individual.
But let's see what were the most interesting and fun novelties presented at the Cersaie 2014, and in the satellite event, that has come now to its fourth edition, is a corollary to the fair: the Bologna Water Design.
It is within the halls of the former Bastardini Hospital in Bologna we have observed a new product from Zucchetti, presented in an original and witty way, we are talking about Closer, a showerhead designed by Diego Grandi with the intent to create an object far away from the classic shower heads: unlike them, in fact, Closer is a dynamic device, looking for a lamp with a cylindrical counterweight that allows you to take up positions and heights changing. It is currently available in chrome or black finish.
The designer defines it as an animated shower. A simple and intuitive system that transforms the rituals of a space usually static in a dynamic event.
The new headshower was presented with the help of very funny animated sequences produced by illustrator Giacomo Nanni, thanks to which it has been told the same design philosophy.
A company that has presented an interesting development of a product is Geberit that offers a single solution for toilet and bidet is AquaClean Sela, designed by Matteo Thun.
It is a double device which has all the appearance of a normal pot: is able to provide, however, also intimate hygiene of the user with a gentle water spray and light at body temperature, it can be operated with a simple touch of a button and selecting among five degrees of intensity of the water; it is heated only if it is recognized the presence of a user.
The seat and the lid will open and close gently and quietly and, thanks to the ease of cleaning, hygiene is always guaranteed; the dispenser head, in fact, is rinsed with running water before and after each use
After being presented in the suspended version, since a few months it is also available on the floor; thanks to technology and its design is adaptable to any environment, the power cables and water connections are in fact embedded in the element ceramic so as to be invisible.
Other news on the subject of bathroom were recorded during the visit of the exhibition halls: taps, tiles, modular systems for the bathroom are the areas where there are continuous innovations and experiments.
Even in the field of heating systems are noted increasingly technological evolutions and under the aesthetic profile: in particular, in recent years, it tends to the realization of radiators that are able to heat the rooms and, at the same time, furnish.
One of the most successful examples viewed is the one proposed by Ridea line with the scheme, designed by Meneghello Paolelli Associates.
For the bathroom environment was thought Scheme Belt, radiator composed of a panel made in aluminum and equipped with a flexible hose which, while being part of the hydraulic circuit, acts as unusual and original support for wipes.
The product has been designed to combine the elegance in the form of a top performance in energy savings and energy efficiency: the brand, in fact, belongs to FECS Group, a holding company in the field of recycling and recovery of metallic raw materials, the radiators are produced with.
Completing the line other radiators with same function but different aspect, adaptable to different environments, the most fun are those having the profile of different animal.
The entire collection, in July 2014, was awarded of the Red Dot Design Award 2014.
